Saganishiki jewelry by Seattle Weavers' Guild member Jan Paul
Saganishiki is a form of weaving originally from Saga prefecture, Japan. Japanese paper, coated in gold or silver or painted with lacquer, is used as the warp. The weft is a silk thread which is dyed. Jan's jewelry is among the many unique items available at the Seattle Weavers Guild Sale--October 26-28, 2017.
