ANWG 2025 Guild Booth
One of the attractions at the biennial conference for the Association of Northwest Weavers Guilds (ANWG 2025) is a hall of Guild Booths where Northwest regional guilds show off their members’ work. SWG needs your weaving to show at this year’s conference. Rebecca Perry and Deb Staehle are organizing the booth for the June conference. Their plan calls for weaving work at all levels, from simple weaves, to complex weaves, to a “WOW Wall” of mind-blowing garments or other constructions from handwoven cloth.
The conference is coming up, and We need more weavers!
Weave anything you want on any loom in conference colors:
Simpler or smaller pieces: fewer colors or simpler structure.
More complex or larger pieces: more colors or more complex structure.
The boundary is purposely blurry. Fiber artists do not color within the box.
Approximate the categories. Have Fun!
The goal is to provide examples of the progression of weaving interest and expertise within our guild.
