New Members - September 2023

• Cathy Barnes from Eugene, OR
  Cathy is currently the Study Group chair for the Eugene Weavers Guild. She finds herself spending more time in Seattle to visit grandchildren. She hopes to meet other weavers in their area (Haller Lake). She likes learning new weave structures and has background in natural dyes.

• Priscilla Knoble from Seattle, WA
  Priscilla says she has EHD (excessive hobby disorder); she spins, dyes, knits, crochets, weaves gardens, quilts, sews, cooks while working in the tech industry. She is hoping to learn from other weavers. She is mainly interested in weaving for the home.

• Alex Lewis from Seattle, WA
  Alex has an undergraduate degree in textiles and has a passion for the craft of weaving and would love to meet others sharing this passion. Alex is interested primarily in overshot and double weave.

• Carlyn Orians from Seattle
  Carlyn has been weaving for 20 years but still considers herself a novice. She is joining the Guild to be a part of community with shared interests that can share ideas, tips and trouble shoot problems

• Maureen Traxler from Edmonds, WA
  Maureen is a beginning weaver and is joining the Guild for educational opportunities and to meet other weavers.
