Christina has spent time quilting, stitching, knitting and yarn-bombing, and is now ready to dive into weaving. As she learns to weave, she is hoping to focus on technique. She would like to learn from other weavers.Traci DeMarco from Renton, WA.
Traci learned to weave many years ago, but the demands of her job kept her from following that passion. Newly retired, she is hoping to brush up and start again.Shileen Dupre from Seattle, WA.
Shileen recently inherited her first loom. She is hoping to begin by learning the basics and is looking to the Guild for instruction and networking.Jenner Horton from Everett, WA.
Recently retired, Jenner has joined the Guild to connect with others who share in the appreciation of all things textile. She uses a floor loom, inkle loom and table loom.Amalia Magaret from Seattle, WA.
Amalia is joining the Guild to learn from other weavers about techniques, materials and designs. She is interested in backstrap weaving and weaving on a floor loom.Alexandria McKeon from Bainbridge Island, WA.
Alexandria is the Chair of the weaving committee at BARN on Bainbridge. With two children under 6, she is hoping to make it to some events this year.
